Gollnick, the second-place finisher, ran the marathon in 3:16 and finished the race in 9:33—both PRs. "My daughter, Jordan, who has Cerebral Palsy, wrote me a letter before I left telling me that 'whenever your legs feel tired, think of me and press on.'
